Shattered To-Do list!
1. 24th-31st Aug- Apply for all the engg colleges for the faculty post. LoL, me as a faculty in engg college!? Never thought of it even in my wildest dreams during my education. Though i dislike almost everyone who taught me in engg (1-2exceptions), I love the process and profession of teaching. I love the dais and try to conguer it and my listeners (if any) :P
2. From Sept - Incase due to my worse academic performance in engg, if I do not get a job as a faculty member, I decided to make my freelance works in a more bigger and brighter way. Even planned to take a small decent office space in tanuku and shift with home PC there so that i can dedicate quality time for my online works and can work hard. In home, I waste time sitting idle and lazy all the day and night.
3. We are three months old with our VPS web hosting service - HeroeHost
Three of us (Online friends - one from UK, the other from Nellore and Me) are running this hosting business with a recurring expenditure of more than $150 a month from our pockets. Now as we have got some decent clients, the investment has lowered down to $25 per head. And in a month or two, we are going to reach a stage where, the business runs itself with no extra funding - Breakeven point. So, planned to market a newsletter to all the newly established engg colleges, that we can design, host and maintain their college website on robust dedicated server at cost and quality which no competitor of us can dare to think of :D
4. Be among the editorial board for an upcoming college magazine - CampusStar, a hard copy monthly magazine that targets the Engineering college students of AP exclusively. My friend made all the plans to launch the magazine next month and is working on getting the name registered and bring in VCs and sponsors.
5. A professional blog is in the list. It's my friend's wonderful idea. We decided to implement it in this week. But now.. seems i cannot dedicate full time to it.
6. Apply for SBI bank test (in November) and simultaneously prepare for MAT. - MBA is always in my list.
But now, i fear above things may not be accomplished in time.
The reason, I got a job!! :)
On a day which I had declared as the probable last day for my hunt and job in Bangalore.
More in next post.
PS: This is a sudden surprise for me after having attended about a dozen interviews.
