Not so special Friendship Day

2nd Aug, 2008

One of the many memorable days of my engineering. It's the day before friendship day and the entire class celebrated it at the canteen outside the college.
As usual, knh didn't give permission to cut the cake and celebrate in the classroom and so all of us moved out of the college. Who's gonna risk questioning us there? Definitely none. Yet again, that left entire faculty of our department think, ece-b guys rock! :D

It was great fun, running at the empty grass lands outside the college with pieces of cake in hands to apply them on the faces of friends and trying to escape. Playing with the sandals kicking them all around in the ground, and going for a photo session.
It was full of fun and fun unlimited. One good incident was that the misunderstandings between me and P were gone that day. She has become a friend. Friendshipday is one great occassion to speak to the friends, make surprise call to old friends, gather at a place, share memories and have fun.

2nd Aug, 2009

A complete 360 degree turn.
Not even a single call.
Not even a single mail or greeting.
Not even a single sms.

I kept the mobile switched off. I didn't log in to my mail. It's better to stay that way than to expect someone to wish you and later get disappointed. This is one lesson that i learned on my b'day when i stayed online for 22hrs uninterruptedly hoping some special person to wish me :(

The day went fine with me sticked in home to the tv. Even i didn't call any of my friends this day (National call rate isn't cheaper unless you are with docomo).
Nothing great happened. - except that i cooked (rice :P ) for the first time in my life. Nothing worse happened

What next?
